There really is something so wonderful about making your own homemade spice blends. One, you know exactly what is in it, without added stabilizers, preservatives, or whatever other things that go into premade store bought packets. Customizing your own creations means you can also adjust flavors to suit your needs. Don’t like cumin? That’s fine, eliminate it and add more dried basil to a spice mix instead.

The possibilities are endless, and so are the dishes you add it to!

Greek inspired flavors go with so many things – fish, chicken, or as a salad dressing! Keep a jar of this homemade Greek seasoning handy for anytime you need to punch up flavor in a dish, or are in a pickle as to what seasonings to add.

How To Use Homemade Greek Seasoning

It would be perfect for these Greek Chicken Skewers. Making a marinade would be super simple with just a dash of this homemade Greek seasoning, olive oil and more garlic – because more garlic is NEVER a bad thing.

Or make it into a salad dressing with equal parts of olive oil and vinegar.

If you want a beef recipe, these Greek Beef Souvlaki would be stellar, too!

Keep this homemade Greek seasoning as a standby for all your cooking, and if you need another out of this world seasoning mix for your cupboard – this is my go-to Homemade Taco Seasoning blend recipe. I never run out. Each of these recipes is easy to scale up so that you never go without. Just store them in an airtight container, my favorite being my mason jars.
