Cinnamon Pear Muffins are the perfect, on the go, start to your day!


  • 1 3/4 cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/8 Salt
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 Bartlett Pear, finely diced
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and sugar until evenly combined.  Set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together wet ingredients – egg, vanilla extract, oil, and milk. Pour mixture into the dry ingredients and stir to combine. Fold until just mixed together.
  4. Lastly fold in diced pears until just combined. Let batter rest five minutes for pouring into muffin tin.
  5. Scoop into a 12-cup muffin tin that is lined with liners or sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake for 17-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middles comes out clean.
  6. Let rest in muffin tin for 1-2 minutes before removing and allowing to cool on a wire rack. Serve while warm.
