Kick the cranberry sauce can to the curb and make your own ginger orange jellied cranberry sauce in one pan and a blender!

1 pound Fresh Cranberries
2 Oranges
1 1/2 cups Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Freshly Grated Ginger
1 tsp Vanilla
Pinch Salt
Instructions
Place the cranberries into a large saucepan. Using a vegetable peeler, peel oranges and place zest into the saucepan. Then squeeze the juice from both oranges. Stir in the sugar, ginger, and pinch of salt.
Bring the mixture to to a simmer, and cook, stirring occasionally for 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove the mixture from the heat, gently removing the orange pith from the mixture. Stir in the vanilla.
Pour the mixture into a blender, and blend until smooth. Pour through a mesh sieve and into a serving bowl.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in fridge until ready to serve.
Garnish with additional cranberries, and segmented oranges, optional.
