Easy dog friendly “PupCakes” for your fur baby.

Peanut Butter Pup-Cakes:

  • 1 cup white or whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 egg

Frosting:

  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese, softened
  • ½ cup Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Honey

Instructions

For Pup-Cakes

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare a muffin pan with paper muffin liners or spray tin with non-stick spray.
  3. In one bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda.
  4. In second large bowl add peanut butter, oil, carrot, vanilla, honey and egg – mix well. Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix well to combine.
  5. Fill each tin or liner about ¾ full. Bake for 25-30 minutes, remove from tin and cool on wire rack until completely cool.

For Frosting

  1. In stand mixer or with wire whisk, beat together peanut butter, cream cheese and honey until smooth.
  2. Spread on top of each pup-cake and top with small dog treat for decoration. Serve to your drooling dog immediately.
