No, no, wait – I promise this isn’t a joke! Peanut Butter and bacon is really a thing! I swear. I wasn’t a believer either, but I came around. A couple years ago a friend changed my world when she convinced me to take that first fateful bite of a peanut butter bacon hamburger on a mountain adventure roadtrip. Heavens parted, angels sang, and all that jazz. Basically I made it my mission to make this combo a regular staple condiment, not just that weird one you eat as a joke.

I promise, just try it once. I mean, peanut butter chicken satay is a thing right? HA, gottcha! See, it’s not as crazy as it sounds!

Peanut Butter Bacon Hot Dog - www.countrycleaver.com I know it’s not exactly HotDogWeek anymore, but I missed out on the last day of Hot Dog Week a couple of weeks ago because of a sad family event, so things got pushed back a little. But it didn’t mean I was going to miss out on sharing this gem with you guys.

And how is it that the weekend is done already? I’m going to be in denial that it is Monday, because I would much rather spend it all grilling, sitting by the pool (which I just watched other people doing instead since I was so busy) and doing nothing. All of those things are the total opposite of my weekend. So I’m calling a grilling mulligan. More hot dogs and more peanut butter bacon hot dogs for everyone!!
