Stamped Sugar Cookies
Make stamped sugar cookies that are easy to decorate and positively gorgeous to serve! Learn the simple tricks with the help of Bridge Edwards of Bake @ 350 and a copy of her latest cookbook!
The best part about Christmas is all the Christmas cookies there are to eat! Â Oh, and spending time with family, too. I mean, the two best things about Christmas is the cookies and spending time with family! Better? Okay, whew.
I recently tried my hand at sugar cookies thanks to Bridget Edward’s latest cookie creation book Decorating Cookies Party, that features 10 celebratory events with 50 all new designs. I’m a lot of things in the kitchen, but a cookie decorator isn’t one of them. Until NOW!Â
One of my favorite designs in Bridget’s new book was for  spring flower seed packets that has gorgeous royal icing flowers on the front and the lettering was STAMPED right onto the dry icing for picture perfect type. This couldn’t be easier.
I went out and bought some holiday stamps and busted out my jars of icing coloring. Â With a few q-tips to color coordinate the stamps with the color schemes I wanted, I stamped each cookie in individual designs on my holiday theme!
The possibilities were so many and the final results were super impressive for my first time stamping cookies!
The hardest part was making sure I waited until the cookie royal icing was completely dry before decorating – so its best to bake and frost one day and stamp the next. This activity will be a great one for the whole family and kids this holiday season. Enter to win a copy of Bridget’s book and get her recipes and how-to for these perfect inspired creations!

Such an easy, fun idea.
I love those pastel Christmas trees on her home page. So PRETTY!
I’d love to try the painted Christmas tree cookies, but not sure I have the patience to place individual red sprinkles on each tree with tweezers. But the stamped ones you show above might be more my speed!
I’d like to do the painted designs, but alas my artistic talents are definitely not up to par. Stamps work for me!
I would make her colorful tree cookies
