Pioneer Woman Cooks Cookbook GIVEAWAY!

—> CLOSED! <—

THE GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED! WINNER WILL BE REVEALED TONIGHT. STAY TUNNED ON TWITTER AND FACEBOOK TO SEE IF YOU WON! GOOD LUCK!

There’s this book.

And you probably never heard of the woman who wrote it.

(Not.)

And you have never seen her traipse across your tv screen.

(Lie.)

And she’s got this weird obsession with basset hounds, butter and her husbands Wrangler wearing rear.

(Truth.)

Her name, if you hadn’t guessed it already, is Ree. As in Ree Drummond. As in The Pioneer Woman. Now you get me? Good. If you hadn’t caught onto this one yet, I’d begin to worry.

With her new cookbook Food From My Frontier out on shelves she’s been making her ’rounds on the book tour circuit, and this Tuesday she’ll be here in Seattle!

(Insert geeky Katherine Heigl Happy Dance here. Youtube it if you haven’t seen it.) I met her last year in Montana and she was a dream. Can’t wait to do it again.

If you want a couple examples of fabulous faire in this book – check out these posts where me and some of my foodie besties pick our favorites and whip them up just for you! Fried Chicken Tacos and Mushroom Swiss Sliders so far, and they’re incredible to say the least.

*Psst*. Next week we’ll be making another fantastic recipe, you’ll just swoon over.

And to celebrate Ms. Ree visiting my hometown I will giving away one signed copy – personalized just for the giveaway winner!!

What do you think? Want a copy? Fantastic! This is why we’re friends you and I.

To Enter:

Leave a comment answering – What is your favorite PW Recipe?

That’s it!

This will be the shortest giveaway ever, lasting only until Tuesday the 24th at noon. So hurry and enter right away. I will announce the winner that night – with a picture of Ree signing the book herself!! It will be plastered all over the interwebs – from the Country Cleaver Twitter Page, to Instagram (CountryCleaver) and the WBACC Facebook Page. So keep your eyes peeled!!

Good luck everyone. You’ll just love this book to no end. Promise.

*Fine Print* This book was furnished by me, myself and I because I love Ms. Ree and her ability to significantly hamper my weight loss efforts through her delicious and drool inducing cooking. Sorry the giveaway is so short, but one lucky winner will have a memento of awesome and tasty recipes to last a lifetime. The winner will be chosen via Random.org and announced via Twitter, Instagram and WBACC Facebook page and then contacted via e-mail.*

As simple as this sounds, it’s her mac & cheese recipe. I make it more than I would like to admit, but it’s become like second nature for me. It’s my go-to meal when I can think of nothing else, so…. it’s gone to a lot. Amen. I love this recipe. And her enchiladas recipe. And her cobbler recipe.

I adore so many of her recipes, but P Dub’s Perfect Potroast truely salvaged that long loved dish for me. Every attempt resulted in a terribly dry roast – but not anymore!

I love everything she makes but I have to say her dr pepper pot roast cause before I had hers I never liked pot roast even though my family loves it so I would make for them & eat something else for me Love everything she makes her cookbook would be a great addition to the books I collect.
