Why the Palouse…
More often than not, there’s not a single thing I can pin point to try and explain to people why I love this place so much. Without going into too much history of the area, the Palouse is the southeastern region of Washington, covered in rolling hills absolutely perfect for a country lifestyle. Farming and ranching thrive here, quiet lives are built here and peace is here too.
Is it any wonder that I drive as far as I do to get some relaxation?!
To help visually illustrate my love for this area, I figured a couple pictures would help. (Go figure, right?)
With everything that spring brings forth, it makes me appreciate and care for this area more and more. It was home when I was in school and it still feels like home, even if I live on the West side…for now.
And it seems to be pretty homey to the Hound Dog too.

I'm with you Megan! I love the Palouse and even tho I'm really glad to be out of it for now (work, family, etc) I too think I'll be back there some day to happily live out my life 🙂 …that is, if I can convince Jason to join me on that journey! ha
